I know that Waitangi day was a while ago now but in class, we have still been working on posters about the Journey the first British settlers took to New Zealand and what they experienced on the way, we also had to include some information about why the Treaty of Waitangi was created.

For the past two weeks, we have been work on Keeping Ourselves Safe At Home posters, the posters must include a scenario when you're at home and some danger arises, then some options that a least one leads to you being safe, finally some consequences that go with the options. I used Canva to make mine, Do you think it's easy to read? Do you have any other feedback for me?

As it is the start of the term we have to create lots of artwork and information about ourselves.
Our first task was to create ourselves as LEGO characters, we started by doing our faces and then our hair, followed by our clothes and shoes. The last step was to add colour! I choose the colour scheme of blue and purple. I also coloured my skin yellow so I looked like a true LEGO character!

This week we have been working on our pepeha's and presenting them in a creative way. We used adobe spark, we added a few photos, some music and BAM we were done. For some of the images, I had to take them off the internet, like the ones of my parents for example.
