This term our topic for inquiry is cultures of different countries and we have been studying the culture of our own country, this includes making pavlova, however that is later on, right now we are focusing on Food, Haka, Korowai and Tā moko.

Term 4, Finally!

Welcome back to school! It is Term 4 and the last term for this year, Yay! We have a lot of stuff on this tern including tests, athletics, our final assembly and much more.

Wacky Science Website

Hey Bloggers, 

This term our literacy group has been doing science experiments and for the past 3 weeks, we have been paired off and creating our own experiments. I was working with Olivia and we did an experiment based around fossils.

Fantastic Fossils

This week Olivia and I have been working on a science experiment involving making imprints in soil and sand. We are going to be observing these over a week to see how vivid they are over the period of time. We have created a slide with most of the information about it. We are also working on making a site that will be our final presentation.

Flight Science Report

The past two weeks my literacy group have been working on a Flight science experiment. We used paper planes and we measured how far they went to see what design of paper plane can travel the furthest.
